Our Story

A Community Investment. A Championship Result.

Mansfield National Golf Club is a story rooted in civic pride and a shared belief that great golf should be accessible to everyone. The club was born from a $10 million public-private partnership between the City of Mansfield and Arcis Golf, a collaborative venture that placed a championship-caliber golf facility at the heart of one of the Dallas-Fort Worth area's most vibrant and fastest-growing communities. From the beginning, the mission was clear: build something exceptional, open it to the public, and let the rolling hills of Mansfield speak for themselves. Architect John Colligan, whose portfolio includes acclaimed Texas courses like Squaw Valley in Glen Rose and Ridgeview Ranch in Plano, delivered a 225-acre design that has become a source of pride for the city and a destination for golfers from across the DFW Metroplex and beyond. Today, managed by Arcis Golf and serving the Mansfield community daily, the club continues to honor the original vision of its founders by combining championship golf with warm Texas hospitality and a genuine commitment to welcoming every golfer who walks through its doors.

The Course That Was Built for a City

When architect John Colligan was commissioned to design Mansfield National Golf Club, he was given one of the most naturally compelling sites in the South DFW area: 225 rolling acres threaded by Low Branch Creek, punctuated by a 4-acre lake, and covered with native oaks, cedars, elms, and mesquite trees that had been shaping the Texas landscape for generations. Colligan responded with a design that respected every natural feature of the land while creating a layout that was, as he intended, both genuinely challenging and genuinely fun. The course's 26 bunkers, large undulating greens, and the legendary 233-yard par-3 fifth hole have earned Mansfield National a lasting reputation as one of the most valuable, memorable public golf experiences in DFW.

The Golfing Experience

Mansfield National Golf Club's course was designed with authentic purpose and natural character, where Low Branch Creek, a 4-acre lake, 26 bunkers, and the legendary par-3 fifth hole challenge inspire across 225 rolling Texas acres. Backed by genuine hospitality and deep community roots, it's a golf gem unlike anything else in the area.

A Family Environment

Mansfield National is a true community asset, born of a partnership with the City of Mansfield and designed to welcome golfers of every age and background. With instructional programs for adults and juniors, the VertaCat mobility cart ensuring access for players with physical limitations, and a warm clubhouse where families gather, everyone belongs.

Tournaments and Events

From corporate golf days to charity fundraisers, Mansfield National's 225-acre championship course, dedicated staff, on-site catering, and the unique accessibility of the VertaCat mobility cart combine to create a tournament and event experience that is welcoming, well-organized, and genuinely memorable for every guest from first tee to final award.

The Membership Community

With Arcis Players' Prime and Club memberships as well as an Annual Pass, Mansfield National offers more membership flexibility than almost any other Arcis Dallas club, connecting members to six additional DFW-area courses through the Arcis Players' network while giving the most dedicated Mansfield regulars the unlimited access option they deserve on a course they never tire of playing.

Mansfield National is by far the best value in DFW golf. The championship course is beautifully maintained and offers the perfect mix of challenge and scenery, with the creek, lake, and bunkers making every round feel special. The staff genuinely cares about your experience, and with a great practice facility, it's the perfect place to play often and work on your game.
