River Place Country Club is in the midst of its most significant evolution in club history: a $8.5–$10.5 million transformation that touches nearly every corner of the clubhouse and reimagines what membership looks like in the Texas Hill Country. Beginning in the summer of 2025, River Place started a once-in-a-generation opportunity to redesign, expand, and elevate the entire club experience from the ground up. A brand-new two-story fitness center, a fully redesigned 19th Hole bar, a modern family dining restaurant, a reimagined grand entrance, an all-new lifestyle shop, and a refreshed lobby and ballroom are just the beginning. With these additions, River Place is positioning itself as the Hill Country's premier lifestyle and wellness destination and a true home away from home for golfers, families, fitness enthusiasts, and social members alike.

River Place's newly expanded two-story fitness center is unlike anything in the area, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, a dedicated Pilates studio with reformers, and a full schedule of group fitness classes. The addition of contrast therapy — a traditional Finnish sauna paired with a Frost Locker cold therapy unit — brings a genuine recovery and performance experience to the club. For members who want to go deeper, Wellness+ combines advanced biomarker testing, quarterly performance assessments, and premium recovery access into one comprehensive program.
Dining, Redefined.
The redesigned 19th Hole is an adults-only retreat built for unwinding after a round, with a craft cocktail program rooted in fresh, house-made ingredients, an exceptional bourbon collection, and rare tequila selections. Just steps away, the new family restaurant offers a warm, all-ages dining experience inspired by the Hill Country, with chef-driven menus and a covered patio overlooking the golf course. Two distinct atmospheres, one seamless experience. Thoughtfully curated service in both spaces ensures every guest finds their ideal way to relax, reconnect, and savor the club.
An Elevated First Impression.
First impressions matter, and the reimagined porte cochere and grand entrance set the tone with vaulted wood beam ceilings, an attended bag drop, and a beautifully expanded covered arrival experience. Inside, the lobby has been fully remodeled in an Austin Hill Country aesthetic with new flooring, updated furnishings, and an expanded executive boardroom with a private F&B breakout space. The ballroom has also been refreshed with new flooring and a pre-function space that makes private events more versatile.

The new lifestyle shop, designed by Tom Hoch and relocated to a prominent spot near the front entrance, elevates the first and last touchpoint of every visit. Featuring a curated selection of boutique apparel and accessories, it brings the same quality and style found at some of the most recognized clubs in the country right here to River Place.
