Our Story

Designed by the legendary Pete Dye and his son, P.B. Dye, Ruffled Feathers transforms former farmland into a championship canvas of sculpted fairways, dramatic bunkering, and sweeping wetlands. Majestic trees frame lush greens while 114 strategically placed bunkers and expansive water features create both beauty and consequence on every shot.

From the opening hole’s 100-yard carry over water to a blind fairway, the course introduces golfers to the unmistakable “Dye-abolical” creativity that defines the experience. Elevated tees, doglegs, railroad ties, and bold shaping demand strategy and imagination. The 155-yard par-3 11th, featuring a peninsula green surrounded by water, stands as the signature test, while holes like the split-fairway par-5 6th and the risk-reward par-4 16th showcase the course’s balance of challenge and playability.

Though a formidable test for low handicaps, multiple tee options on every hole ensure an engaging round for golfers of all abilities. Complementing the layout is an expansive all-grass practice facility and short game area, along with comprehensive player development programs led by PGA professionals for juniors and adults alike.
