Our Story

The Golf Club at Fossil Creek opened in 1987 in Fort Worth, Texas, with an 18-hole championship course designed by legendary golfer and architect Arnold Palmer.

A Ft. Worth Favorite for Golf, Events, and Community

Built on the site of a former quarry, the course was designed to blend seamlessly with the natural landscape, incorporating limestone cliffs, creeks, lakes, and mature trees into its layout. The par-72 course quickly gained national attention and in 1988 was named one of the best new resort golf courses in the United States, cementing its reputation as a standout golf experience in the Southwest. Over the years, Fossil Creek has remained a popular daily-fee destination known for its dramatic scenery, strategic design, and welcoming club atmosphere for golfers and event guests alike.
