Ancala Country Club’s legacy began in 1989, when developer Rich Barton envisioned a private club at the heart of an upscale lifestyle community. Since opening in 1990, Ancala has brought that vision to life as a full-service destination where families gather to enjoy golf, recreation, and a rich social life—creating traditions and connections that continue to shape the club today.

Over the years, Ancala has evolved, undergoing a multimillion-dollar enhancement project that refreshed clubhouse furnishings, added new dining spaces, improved the fitness center, and built a new outdoor patio, reaffirming the club’s commitment to quality, comfort, and community.

Today, Ancala stands as one of Arizona’s finest full-service private country clubs, a place where natural beauty, recreation, and shared memories come together for members and their families.

Golf at Ancala Country Club balances strategic challenge with enjoyment. The Perry Dye–designed, 18-hole championship course winds through the Sonoran Desert, rewarding precision, shot-making, and course management. With five tee options, the layout welcomes players of varying abilities—offering every member a scenic, distinctly Arizona round.

Family Environment

At Ancala Country Club, family life takes center stage through experiences that bring generations together.
