As the desert sky softens and the sun dips behind Camelback Mountain, the patio at Ancala becomes a front-row seat to Arizona’s natural splendor. Members gather with friends, family, or fellow golfers, drinks in hand, laughter around small tables, the air warm, the light golden, and the view expansive.
With the clubhouse just steps away, it’s easy to move from a golf round or tennis match to a leisurely dinner, casual drinks, or a small celebration outdoors. The patio’s ambiance, desert breeze, mountain backdrop, and welcoming setting transform a simple gathering into a quiet ritual of connection and calm.
Golf at Ancala blends desert-mountain beauty with strategic shot-making and well-maintained conditions. The Dye-designed course, with its five sets of tees and varied terrain, provides a fair test for all abilities—whether you want a casual round with friends or a serious challenge.
We joined for the golf and quickly realized how much more the club offers. Between the pool, dining, and events, it’s become our go-to place to unwind and connect.
The partnership with Round Up 4 Els for Autism and World Golf Hall of Fame member Ernie Els —along with his wife, Liezl, and the Els for Autism Foundation—continues for the sixth year. The program, which runs every April, raises money in two ways. Purchases made by Arcis Golf club members, guests, and patrons, including merchandise, food and beverage, and golf, are “rounded up” to the nearest dollar and donated to Els for Autism. Additionally, each facility is free to stage its own events, such as a golf tournament, a fun run, a casino night, or a fashion show. All funds directly impact the lives of individuals and families affected by autism spectrum disorder.
