Our Story

The Legacy of Fox Meadow Country Club

Fox Meadow Country Club was founded on a simple vision: a private club rooted in natural beauty, quality golf, and warm social life. Set among the rolling hills, wooded terrain, and water features of Medina County — about 33 miles southwest of Cleveland — the club was built from the start to be more than a golf course, growing into a community where families gather, friendships form, and traditions carry forward across generations. Over the decades, Fox Meadow has become one of Ohio's most respected private clubs, anchored by a championship 18-hole course that winds through rolling terrain and tree-lined corridors. That legacy has been reinforced in recent years by a multi-million-dollar investment from Arcis Golf, which modernized the clubhouse with new lighting, flooring, and gathering spaces while preserving the classic club character members have valued for years. Today, Fox Meadow honors its heritage while continuing to evolve — pairing scenic, tradition-rich golf with family programming, seasonal celebrations, and a clubhouse built for connection.

A Championship Course Rooted in Medina County's Rolling Hills

Fox Meadow's championship 18-hole course, designed by Steve (Stephen) Burns, ASGCA, opened in 1996 and is laid out across the rolling hills, mature trees, and shimmering lakes of Medina County. Playing to a par of 72 across roughly 6,918 yards, the layout has earned recognition beyond the club itself, having hosted multiple Ohio Open Championships and the 2014 AJGA All-Star Championship. Its rolling terrain and wooded corridors are built to reward smart play while staying enjoyable for golfers of every level, and the course has been kept current through Arcis Golf's broader multi-million-dollar reinvestment in the property. Beyond the round itself, Fox Meadow supports the game with a full practice complex — driving range, short-game and putting areas — along with lessons, clinics, and coaching, making the course as much a place to develop as to compete.

Private Events Venue

Fox Meadow's clubhouse and grounds are built for one-of-a-kind celebrations, with banquet space for weddings up to 150 guests, ceremonies on the greens, and elegant indoor spaces overlooking fairways and lakes. Recent clubhouse upgrades added new lighting, flooring, and gathering areas, giving events a polished, memorable backdrop.

Club Life

Beyond golf, Fox Meadow offers a full private-club lifestyle: tennis and racquet sports, an Olympic-size pool, a modern fitness center, and full-service dining from casual meals to chef-crafted, themed culinary events. Inviting clubhouse lounges and scenic patios round things out, giving members year-round spaces to relax, socialize, and stay active.
