Tijeras Creek Golf Club opened in 1990 and has delivered spectacular golf in a beautiful natural setting ever since. Over the decades, the club has built a loyal following among golfers, families, and event guests throughout Rancho Santa Margarita and South Orange County — becoming far more than a place to play golf. With a lively restaurant, distinguished event venues, and one of the most decorated teaching staffs of any public course in California, Tijeras Creek is a true community gathering point. The club continues to evolve, adding Toptracer technology to the practice facility, expanding dining and social programming at TJ's Tap and Table, and delivering the personalized, professional hospitality that has made it one of Orange County's most beloved golf destinations.

A Ted Robinson Masterpiece: A Tale of Two Extraordinary Nines

Ted Robinson, one of golf's most celebrated architects, designed Tijeras Creek Golf Club as a course that would draw its character from the natural scenery. The result is an 18-hole layout that plays as two fundamentally different experiences. The front nine winds through the lower contours of the property, featuring water hazards on three holes that demand strategic thinking. The back nine rises through the natural topography of the Rancho Santa Margarita hills, delivering awe-inspiring elevation changes, sweeping canyon views, and fairways framed by old-growth sycamores, native oaks, and California chaparral — creating one of the most visually stunning back nines in Southern California. The 16th hole, recognized as one of Orange County's Best 18 Holes by the Southern California PGA, stands as a testament to Robinson's genius for crafting holes that are both beautiful and demanding. Tijeras Creek is my favorite course in Orange County. I love how the two nines are so distinct from each other, yet both absolutely stunning. The community and experience here are always exceptional as well.
