SCOTTSDALE (FEB. 5, 2024) — The newest dining mecca in the Valley of the Sun is located at an already popular venue—McDowell Mountain Golf Club. Rossa Kitchen and Patio is the club’s hip, new neighborhood restaurant, and it’s quickly gaining a reputation for great pizzas, an expansive menu, and a selection of exceptional cocktails.

Guests can also enjoy the bustling show of the bar and new, open-air, wood-fired Neapolitan red pizza oven all the while savoring the aromas of fresh-baked Italian specialties, their dough perfected through a proprietary fermenting process.

The restaurant’s contemporary approach to American and Italian cooking reimagines time-honored classics such as homemade pizzas, with unusual, signature creations such as Tito Cracked Pepper (vodka sauce, cracked pepper, mozzarella, parmigiana, Reggiano and prosciutto) or the Ooey Gooey (mac & cheese, mozzarella, smoked bacon and caramelized onion). Other menu items include tossed salads, crafted handhelds like burrata & coppa, shareables, balanced bites, main courses, and desserts. The full menu is also available for “to go” orders, in particular the pizza…perfect for your home gathering.

Rossa’s beverage selections are built around crafty cocktails, Italian and American spirits, wine, and aperitifs. Among the signature recipes are the Prosciutto-Washed Old Fashioned; The Dutton (Yellowstone Bourbon, lemonade, passion fruit and club soda); and the Limoncello Collins.

Great food and atmosphere are complemented by elevated levels of service from a knowledgeable, high-energy staff. The recent transformation of the dining spaces and bar also includes an outdoor game area, where lively cornhole and other games are frequently in play.

Company Embraces Programs and Opportunities to Bring More People to Golf

DALLAS (JAN. 25, 2024) — Arcis Golf, the second largest owner and operator of private, resort and daily fee facilities in the United States, is honored to continue its financial, course and program support of the United States Adaptive Golf Alliance (USAGA) in 2024. This will be the sixth consecutive year of partnership support. Making golf accessible to a broad cross section of audiences has been one of Arcis’ core tenets since its founding nearly a decade ago.

The USAGA, which brings inclusion to the disabled through the game of golf, now has 47-member support organizations across North America and the world. A cornerstone of the USAGA’s mission is spreading the joy of golf to 20 million adaptive individuals interested in learning the game, including veterans and children with special needs.

“Growing the game for diverse audiences is in our company’s DNA,” said Blake Walker, Founder and CEO of Dallas-based Arcis Golf. “The United States Adaptive Golf Alliance is an ideal partner that helps attract more people to golf, as well as bring the game of golf to them. Through our network of clubs and program support, we provide the USAGA and other organizations a platform to build the connections necessary to continue to serve their constituencies.”

In 2023, the USAGA delivered nearly 5,000 adaptive golf lessons in its headquarters’ state of Illinois and impacted over 40,000 other golfers through its member organizations. The USAGA added several new member organizations last year, including the Golf Association of Philadelphia, I GOT THIS Foundation, Japan Disabled Golf Association, Northern Ohio Golf Association, Operation Homeland Honor, The Cairns Cup, U.S. Seated Golfers Association, and the Chicago District Golf Association.

As in the past, Arcis will offer in-person golf instruction to people of all abilities, regardless of their current health, physical, mental, sensory coping, and well-being status. The company sponsors adaptive golf clinics at no cost to participants at several of its facilities, including Ruffled Feathers Golf Club, Tamarack Golf Club, and Eagle Brook Country Club in Illinois. Across the country, PGA professionals within the Arcis Golf portfolio work with adaptive golfers to build confidence and utilize golf as therapy in their lives through inclusion.

“We are grateful to have the support of Arcis Golf,” said Jonathan L. Snyder, Executive Director, U.S. Adaptive Golf Alliance. “This is an exciting time for our organization and for adaptive golfers, with programs developing across the globe. Our partnership proves more vital than ever. Together with Arcis, we look forward to creating a more inclusive environment in the game of golf.”

Arcis Golf also has made solo rider carts available to adaptive golfers at select facilities in Phoenix, Dallas, St. Louis, Chicago, and Los Angeles and opens its facilities for instructional opportunities for the adaptive community who want to learn to play the game.

“Arcis Golf is committed to inclusiveness in all its operations and our commitment to the USAGA exemplifies how we can grow the sport for all audiences to help them learn and enjoy the game,” said Linnet Carty, the company’s Corporate Director of Inclusion & Equity.
