USAGA and Arcis Golf Presentation

Company Embraces Programs and Opportunities to Bring More People to Golf

Dallas, TEXAS (Jan. 26, 2023) – Arcis Golf is honored to renew its support of the United States Adaptive Golf Alliance (USAGA) with a financial contribution to facilitate USAGA outreach campaigns and programming. Additional resources will be made available at select Arcis Golf clubs throughout this year.

Arcis Golf—the second largest and fastest-growing owner and operator of private, resort and daily fee clubs in the United States—has supported USAGA since 2018.

The USAGA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to bringing inclusion to the disabled through the game of golf. Through in person golf instruction to people of all abilities, regardless of current health, physical, mental, sensory coping, and well-being status, the USAGA’s 40 member organizations throughout the United States spread the joy of adaptive golf to the 20 million individuals interested in learning the game of golf. Last year, its member organizations provided adaptive golf opportunities to 40,000 individuals.

Across the country, PGA professionals within the Arcis Golf portfolio work with adaptive golfers to build confidence and utilize golf as therapy in their lives through inclusion. In recent years, Arcis Golf facilities have hosted adaptive golf clinics, as well as seminars on adaptive golf. Moreover, Arcis facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area have hosted clinics and Desert Pines Golf Club in Las Vegas has hosted USAGA championship events.

“Growing the game for diverse audiences is in our company’s DNA,” said Blake Walker, founder and CEO of Dallas-based Arcis Golf. “The United States Adaptive Golf Alliance is an ideal partner that helps bring more people to golf, as well as bring the game of golf to them. Through our network of clubs, we give the USAGA and other organizations a platform to build the connections necessary to continue to serve their constituencies.”

This summer, Arcis Golf’s Ruffled Feathers Golf Club will host “Adaptive Golf Clinics” to deliver an adaptive golf experience for children with disabilities. The club partners with the Chicago-based Freedom Golf Clinics, which provided more than 6,237 adaptive golf lessons for its participant golfers last year.

Additionally, Arcis Golf has made solo rider carts available to adaptive golfers at select facilities in Phoenix, Dallas, St. Louis, and Los Angeles. Further, Arcis Golf opens its facilities for instructional opportunities for the adaptive community who want to learn to play golf.
“We are humbled and so very appreciative to have the support of Arcis Golf,” said Jonathan L. Snyder, Acting Executive Director, U.S. Adaptive Golf Alliance. “The USAGA looks forward to working together to improve the lives of others through the inclusion of the adaptive community in the game golf.”
USAGA programs focus on three primary areas: teach, play, complete—and Arcis Golf supports each pillar.

“Arcis Golf is proud to offer quality experiences, both on and off the course, on a daily basis to a broad spectrum of golfers, of all abilities,” said Linnet Carty, Corporate Director Inclusion & Equity, Arcis Golf. “Through our partnership with the USAGA and other opportunities, we will continue to advocate for spreading awareness and inclusion for those with disabilities. In March, Ms. Wheelchair USA (2014-15) Yvette Pegues, will present to Arcis’s more than 5,000 employees on corporate social responsibility in an inclusive workspace.”

An industry leader in providing inventive direction and unrivaled lifestyle amenities that complement exceptional playing experiences, Arcis Golf focuses its resources on creating extraordinary experiences and forging emotional connections with members and guests. The company has received numerous honors, including a National Golf Foundation “2023 Top 100 Businesses in Golf.”

TPC River's Bend Hole #9

Southern Ohio Golf Club Now Part of Growing Portfolio;
Continues To Operate as a Licensed TPC Property

Dallas, TEXAS (December 15, 2022) – Arcis Golf—the second largest and fastest-growing owner and operator of private, resort and daily fee clubs in the United States—has added TPC River’s Bend in Maineville, Ohio, to its growing portfolio. This is the 10th club acquisition completed by Arcis in less than a year and a half.

TPC River’s Bend is a highly regarded and upscale private golf club situated approximately 25 miles northeast of Cincinnati. It joins the Arcis portfolio of nearly 70 clubs and is the sixth private club in Ohio, where the company already owns Four Bridges Country Club in the Cincinnati-area, The Club at Tartan Fields in Columbus and three others in the Cleveland-area.

With a focus on operating top-quality facilities and offering experiential, lifestyle programming, Arcis Golf is uniquely positioned to build upon the Club’s great foundation. Importantly, TPC River’s Bend will continue to operate as a licensed TPC property, meaning it will remain a part of the prestigious TPC Network.

“Ohio is an important market for Arcis and adding TPC River’s Bend to the portfolio continues to elevate our offerings in this region,” said Blake Walker, Founder and CEO of Arcis Golf. Walker added that the company will expand golf, food, and programming options for members of TPC River’s Bend and Four Bridges, which are only 15-minutes apart. “We want each Club to continue to have its own identity while offering members additional amenities and lifestyle offerings,” he commented.

TPC River’s Bend par-72, 7,180-yard championship layout, designed by Arnold Palmer, was crafted to blend harmoniously with its surroundings. The course meanders through corridors of mature hardwoods, creeks, and waterfalls, with gentle elevation changes creating a stunning backdrop for a memorable test of golf. Water comes into play on six holes. While challenging enough for professionals, TPC River’s Bend offers multiple sets of tees, including a set of family tees for novice golfers.

The Club also boasts an impressive, 12-acre PGA TOUR-caliber practice facility, which includes multiple tees as well as a short-game practice area for chipping and putting. The course is designated an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary by Audubon International.
Named by Golf Digest among the “Top 10 Best New Private Clubs in the U.S.” when it opened in 2001, TPC River’s Bend has continued to receive ongoing accolades. The course was recognized as one of the “Best in Ohio” by Golf Digest in from 2005 through 2016.

Between 2002 and 2004, it was the venue for the Kroger Classic, a tournament on the PGA TOUR Champions. From 2010 to 2012, it hosted the Chiquita Classic on what is now the Korn Ferry Tour. In 2021, the Club hosted professional-development events for both the Forme Tour (PGA TOUR) and Symetra Tour (LPGA).

“Since 2002, the TPC Network has had the privilege to partner with members, staff, and guests to own and operate TPC River’s Bend,” said John Hugghins, Senior Vice President, TPC Operations. “Arcis’s history of reinvesting heavily in its assets and demonstrated ability to provide the highest-quality experience consistent with the TPC brand is why we are confident and excited to entrust them with TPC River’s Bend.”

According to Walker, near-term plans include enhanced food and beverage experiences and new dining options in TPC River’s Bend 30,000-square-foot clubhouse.

Arcis Golf is known for innovative management, with a best-in-class leadership team that is reinventing the modern club experience, making it more relevant to today’s consumers. Over the past few years, Arcis Golf has invested more than $90 million in upgrades, amenities, training, and systems to maximize the growth and future success of its curated collection of lifestyle clubs.

The company has received numerous honors, including ranking on the Inc. Magazine 5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing companies (2017, 2018) and a National Golf Foundation “Top 100 Businesses in Golf” (2018, 2020). In addition, in 2018, CEO Blake Walker was recognized by EY as the Entrepreneur Of The Year® in the hospitality category.

Cowboys Golf Club Star

COWBOYS GOLF CLUB RETAINS #1 SPOT IN METROPLEX

DALLAS, TEXAS (Nov. 21, 2022) – Arcis Golf’s portfolio of seven public courses in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area has been recognized for excellence by AVIDGOLFER Magazine in its annual “Best of Public Golf” edition. The accolades came both regionally and in numerous specialty categories.

Cowboys Golf Club, the first and only NFL-themed golf club in the world, retained its position as the “Best Overall Golf Club” in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

“We have to give Cowboys credit for consistently improving the property from year to year,” wrote the AVIDGOLFER editors. “Seems like every time we make a trip to Cowboys, they have another project going on. Sometimes it’s the little things, like new menu items, signature cocktails, or GPS screens on the carts. But other times, there are more major upgrades, and we saw a couple of examples of that in 2022.”

Besides having one of the best clubhouses in DFW, the editors go on to say, “Cowboys is, without a doubt, the most well-rounded property in terms of course conditions, food and beverage, swag, amenities and all of the little things you want in a premium course.” Cowboys Golf Club is nearing completion on an upgraded putting green and short game area.

Arcis Golf—which is headquartered in Dallas but owns and/or manages nearly 70 properties around the country—has invested more than $90 million in upgrades, amenities, personnel, training, and systems to maximize the growth and future success of its collection of private, resort, and daily-fee clubs. Recent transformations completed in the Dallas-Fort Worth area include Bear Creek Golf Club, Lantana Golf Club, and The Golf Club at Fossil Creek, with Gentle Creek Country Club, Plantation Golf Club, and The Golf Club at Twin Creeks slated to complete updates and improvements in 2023.

These investments and course experiences were recognized by AVIDGOLFER as both Bear Creek Golf Club – West Course (#9) and The Golf Club at Fossil Creek (#13) were named among the top public golf courses on the west side of the metroplex. Bear Creek Golf Club’s East Course and Mansfield National Golf Club received honorable mentions.
On the east side of the golf-rich Dallas area, The Golf Club at Twin Creeks ranked 13th, while Lake Park Golf Club and Plantation Golf Club received honorable mentions.

In the specialty categories, four Arcis Golf properties earned top honors in a variety of categories:
• Best Overall Food Upgrade: Bear Creek Golf Club
• Best On-Course Food: Cowboys Golf Club
• Most Improved Halfway House: The Golf Club at Fossil Creek
• Best New Bunkers: The Golf Club at Fossil Creek
• Best Practice Green Renovation: Cowboys Golf Club
• Best Lagniappe: Cold Towels at Cowboys Golf Club

“We are thrilled for Cowboys Golf Club, and all of our Dallas-Fort Worth area public courses, to be recognized for delivering quality experiences,” said Blake Walker, Founder, and CEO of Arcis Golf. “Our commitment to the communities we serve is to make great golf and non-golf experiences accessible to many. We’re incredibly grateful to our customers and the public for embracing Arcis and our clubs.”

For access to these seven award-winning daily fee facilities, Arcis Golf offers value-laden frequent play programs, known as Arcis Players’ Prime and Arcis Players’ Club. These programs offer a full suite of benefits, including preferred access rates, advance tee time booking, unlimited range balls, free weekly golf clinics, preferred pricing for club events, tournaments and programs, as well as special twilight rates at the top-ranked Cowboys Golf Club.

In addition to this recent recognition of its DFW portfolio, the company has received numerous honors, including ranking on the Inc. Magazine 5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing companies (2017, 2018) and a National Golf Foundation “Top 100 Businesses in Golf” (2018, 2020). In addition, in 2018, CEO Walker was recognized by EY as the Entrepreneur Of The Year® in the hospitality category.
