Named "America's Best New Public Golf Course" by both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine upon its 1998 debut, Canyon Springs Golf Club quickly established itself as the benchmark for daily-fee golf excellence in San Antonio — a distinction it continues to hold today. Built on fertile ranchland once belonging to the Classen family, the club honors its heritage throughout the grounds, where longhorn steer, wild deer, and other native wildlife roam the fairways alongside golfers, and historic stone accents and remnants of the original homestead pay homage to the land's storied past. Today, Canyon Springs continues to deliver the championship golf, superlative service, world-class events, and warm Hill Country hospitality that have defined it since day one.

Thomas Walker designed Canyon Springs' course to blend seamlessly with its pristine natural surroundings amidst the rolling hills of the Texas Hill Country. The layout winds through mature trees and features two breathtaking limestone waterfalls, picturesque water features, and historic remnants of the Classen family ranch. Its unique loop design gives each hole its own sense of peaceful seclusion. With five sets of tees enabling golfers of all ages and abilities to enjoy the course and immaculate conditioning, Walker's masterpiece continues to deliver a naturally stunning, strategically diverse, and serene golf experience.
