 McDowell Mountain Golf Club features one of Scottsdale's most acclaimed championship layouts, designed by Randy Heckenkemper. Stretching 7,118 yards, the par-72 course winds through the foothills of the McDowell Mountains, offering stunning elevation changes, native desert terrain, and views that rival anything in the Valley. A comprehensive renovation in 2011, carried out under Heckenkemper's oversight, introduced wider playing corridors, new waste bunkers, and additional teeing areas — creating a course that presents challenges for handicap golfers while remaining enjoyable and accessible for players of all skill levels.
