Our Story

The Legacy of The Club at Ruby Hill

Situated in the heart of the Livermore Wine Valley, The Club at Ruby Hill was etched into the landscape on fertile land originally occupied by the Ruby Hill Winery. That same rich history of craftsmanship and tradition lives on today in every corner of the club, from the championship golf course to its warm, wine country-inspired hospitality. The club's legacy continues to shape the Ruby Hill experience today, connecting members to the land's storied past while offering a distinctive lifestyle defined by elegance, community, and timeless charm in Northern California's scenic wine country.

A Private Club, Re-Defined

The Club at Ruby Hill began with a bold vision: carve a world-class golf and lifestyle destination into the rolling hills of the Livermore Valley, where vineyards and vistas meet refined club life. The result: Northern California’s only Jack Nicklaus Signature course, meticulously laid out across some of the region’s most dramatic terrain.

Featuring five sets of tees and measuring approximately 7,400 yards from the back tees, the golf course is both a serious test for the seasoned player and an inviting challenge for those newer to the game. Off the course, Ruby Hill offers an array of amenities designed to enrich every aspect of members' lives, from elevated dining and social events to health and wellness offerings, all designed to deliver an exceptional club experience.

Unforgettable Weddings

The Club at Ruby Hill offers an unrivaled setting for the wedding of your dreams, set against the romantic backdrop of our breathtaking golf course and surrounding wine country. With elegant indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from, Ruby Hill provides the perfect canvas for a day as unique and memorable as your love story.

Clubhouse

The clubhouse at Ruby Hill is a stunning 32,000-square-foot villa-style landmark overlooking the picturesque 18th green. The clubhouse frames a lifestyle of casual elegance, featuring California-inspired décor and sweeping panoramic views of Mount Diablo and the surrounding vineyard-strewn terrain.

Championship Golf

Iconic player-designer Jack Nicklaus, winner of 18 Professional Major Championships, chose this pristine swath of terrain as the site of his first Northern California golf course, etching one of his most imaginative championship layouts ever into the Livermore Valley amidst more than 53 picturesque vineyards.

Athletics and Social

Athletic members and their families enjoy unrestricted access to the club’s dining facilities, co-ed fitness facility, personal training and nutrition services, fitness classes (including yoga, weight training, and aqua classes), lighted tennis courts, heated Jr. Olympic swimming pool, spa, and bocce courts, along with participation in all of the club’s social activities.

This is the first country club I've ever joined. And the last. No other place could possibly compare. Even if we move, I'll always be an Arcis member.
