Swimming at The Country Club of the South is as much a summer lifestyle as it is a place to cool off. The junior Olympic pool and wading pool anchor a full aquatics setup with lifeguards, a poolside terrace and grill, a covered lounge, and even adults-only swim hours and a toddler splash area with its own mushroom fountain, so every generation of the family has its own reason to be there. Beyond casual swimming, the club fields the CCS Sharks Swim Team, a competitive program in the Atlanta Swimming Association League built for swimmers ages 4 to 18. It's designed as an introductory, recreation-first program, teaching proper stroke technique and meet experience while keeping the emphasis on sportsmanship, participation, and fun over pure competition. Add in poolside mixers and Dive-in Movie Nights, and the pool becomes less a single amenity and more a social hub that runs from Memorial Day straight through Labor Day.
