Club Dress Code

2025 Updated Dress Code Policy:

The Club at Pradera and the Pinery Country Club have a dress code that all members and their guests are expected to follow. The dress code aligns with the club's mission, vision, and values, and adhering to it can make the clubhouse and facilities more enjoyable for everyone. The dress code is inclusive and respectful of all ages. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying happy hour after a round of golf, meeting a business associate, or gathering with fellow members or friends, the dress code helps maintain the quality of our private clubs.

 

General Guidelines:

  • Members must remind their guests and family about the dress code. It is our collective responsibility to ensure everyone follows the guidelines.

 

  • Clothing with inappropriate language or graphics, including foul language, political references, or discriminatory inferences, is prohibited on the club's property.

 

Golf Course and Practice Facilities Dress Code:

All: All individuals utilizing the golf course and golf practice facilities are to observe the following dress code:

 

  • Golf slacks, shorts, skirts/skorts, or dresses are acceptable. Pajama bottoms are strictly prohibited.
  • Collared tops are required. Collars may be traditionally folded, turtle or mock

turtleneck, or blade-style.

  • Pullovers, sweaters, and golf-branded hoodies are acceptable. Sweatshirts are strictly prohibited.
  • Shirts may be long-sleeved, short-sleeved, and/or sleeveless for women so long as they comply with the collar guidelines.
  • Jogger-style pants are acceptable with no exposed drawstrings and are of performance athletic fabric (not cotton).
  • Hats and visors are acceptable worn bill forward.
  • Closed-toe golf shoes are required.
  • Rain gear is acceptable.

 

Females:

  • Leggings should be worn as a layer under a skirt or shorts like LPGA Tour standards.
  • Skirts, skorts, and shorts should roughly be mid-thigh length. Pajama bottoms are strictly prohibited.

 

Not Permitted on the Golf Course or Practice Facilities:

  • Denim of any kind
  • Pajama bottoms
  • T-shirts
  • Halter-style tops or any top that exposes your shoulders
  • Midriff-bearing tops
  • Athletic leisure wear that is not designed for golf.
  • Athletic sweatshirts, sweatpants, sweatsuits, or workout shorts.
  • Cargo pants/shorts
  • Beach/Pool style flip flops

 

*Members or guests who are not compliant will not be allowed to use the golf facilities until they are. Compliant clothing is available for purchase in the golf shop.

 

Clubhouse Dress Code:

  • Golf attire and denim without rips, tears, or holes are acceptable in all clubhouse areas and patios.
  • Tailored golf skirts, skorts, shorts, and pants, including capris, are appropriate. Shorts and skirts designed and manufactured to play golf are deemed acceptable.
  • The following attire is unacceptable: T-shirts, non-golf-appropriate hooded sweatshirts, pajamas, exposed back halter tops, cutoff shorts, swimsuits, and bare-midriff attire.
  • Headwear may be worn in the Grille, on the patio, in the locker rooms, exercise rooms, and in the golf shop with the cap bill facing forward.
  • Headwear should not be worn in the formal dining room during a club social event.
  • Athletic or gym wear is permitted only in the fitness facility, locker rooms, pool deck, and when entering the clubhouse to work out.
  • Current golf fashion will be accepted at management’s discretion.
  • Management can offer exemptions in line with advertised special event attire.

 

Fitness Center

  • Sneakers, socks, athletic pants/shorts, and t-shirts are appropriate for attire.
  • Jeans are not permitted. Jeans often have studs, rivets, and zippers, which may tear the fabric from the benches.
  • Bare feet, socks only, or sandals are NOT permitted (except during certain group exercise classes).

 

Children Attire: (Ages 4-12)

  • Solid color T-shirts (no graphics) are acceptable.
  • Athletic team wear (uniforms) is acceptable.

 

Special Events:

Certain special events encourage more formal attire. The club will inform event participants of the required and participants should modify their attire accordingly.

 

 

*If a member or their guest is out of compliance in the Clubhouse, they will be seated and served. However, the Club will email the Members, reminding them of the dress code standards. If a member's dress code infractions are repeated more than two times, the member will face disciplinary action.

Your Position On The Course

Daily Tee Time Information

In an effort to increase the number of available tee times each day the club has adopted a tiered tee time method.
 
Express Tee Times (Start of day until 9:30 am) – 9 Minute Intervals
o Players that are playing in an express tee time slot will be required to play in 4 hours or less, no
exceptions. Failure to do so will result in the restriction of tee time privileges. Starting with the first tee
time of the day, tee times will be at 9 minutes apart from the beginning of the day till 9:30 am.
o This Tee Time block is designed for the fast playing members and will be strictly monitored.
 
Mid-Day Tee Times (9:30am – 1:00 pm) – 10 Minute Intervals
o Players playing in this tee time block will have 10 minute tee times and these players will be required to
play in 4 hours 15 minutes or less. Failure to do so will result in the restriction of tee time privileges.
o This Tee Time block is designed for all members and guests that want a quicker round but also do not
wish to be rushed around the course.
 
Afternoon Tee Times (1:00 pm – 6:00 pm) – 11 Minute Intervals
o Players playing in this tee time block will have 11 minute intervals for tee times and these players will
be required to play in 4 hours 25 minutes or less. Failure to do so will result in the restriction of tee
time privileges.
o This Tee Time block is designed for all members and guests, who want to enjoy their family time,
business related golf, or just out with a group of friends. This tee time block is in place to help maintain
the pace of play after several hours of tee times earlier in the day.
 
Please remember that the following rules and restriction are still in place for the this golf season.
o Tee Times can be made 7 days in advance at starting at 7am.
o Tee Times may be modified or canceled 7 days, to 24 hours in advance.
o Tee Sheet will remained locked the day of play. Moving or modifying your tee time will have to be done directly
through the golf shop.
 
Please remember cancelations are not permitted inside 24 hours unless approved by the professional
staff via telephone or in person.
 
No-Shows
o 1st offense - $25 per player spot taken and not used.
o 2nd offense - $125 per player spot taken and not used, and a letter from the Advisory Board about
possible suspension of privileges.
o 3rd offense - $125 per player spot taken and not used, and a letter from the Advisory Board with your
suspension letter.
(Suspension duration will be up to the Advisory Board’s discretion.)
 
o Members are only allowed to play once per day, including league and events.
o Guest and Junior play is restricted to after 11am Saturday and Sunday.
o No 5-somes are allowed at any time, no exceptions.
o When booking your tee time, please have correct members and guests names on the tee sheet.

In the event that a group is out of position or causing undue delay, our Player Assistants will:

  1. Provide an initial friendly reminder and a specific expectation for the group to regain position.
  2. Act as a forecaddie to assist groups in regaining position.
  3. If a group is unable to regain position, the Player Assistant will provide that group with options to move back into position, such as skipping shots / holes, rain check, or restarting their round behind the last group.
