[** Back to all news](https://www.arcis.life/press-releases) February 28, 2019 ## Arcis Golf Continues Support for U.S. Adaptive Golf Alliance **DALLAS ****(January 28, 2020) ****–** [Arcis Golf](https://arcisgolf.com/) has renewed its support of the United States Adaptive Golf Alliance, starting the new year with a financial contribution that allowed the USAGA to conduct a successful outreach campaign at the 2020 PGA Show in Orlando, Fla., and will provide additional resources at select Arcis Golf facilities around the country throughout this year. The [USAGA](http://www.usaga.org/) is a national coalition of 37 adaptive golf organizations with common goals and objectives, promoting and providing resources for athletes with disabilities nationwide. Last year, its member organizations provided adaptive golf to 36,000 individuals across the country annually, of which 26% were wounded veterans. “Attending the PGA Show, to present disabled golf in a whole new light to the golf industry, has been invaluable and could not have been possible without the support of Arcis Golf the past three years,” said EQ Sylvester, Chairman, USAGA. “There are 20 million physically disabled people in the United States who want to play golf, and with the support of Arcis Golf, this is becoming a reality,” Sylvester added.  The USAGA recently was recognized by the International Network of Golf (ING) with an Industry Honors Award for ‘Player Development.’ For the past three years, Arcis Golf has provided golf course access to adaptive golf programs.  Around the country, PGA professionals within the Arcis Golf portfolio work with these golfers to build confidence in their games.  Through the company’s ongoing support fundraising opportunities are implemented through Arcis Golf courses nationwide. “The United States Adaptive Golf Alliance is an ideal partner that helps bring more people to the game of golf, as well as bring the game of golf to them,” said Blake Walker, founder and CEO of Dallas-based Arcis Golf. “Our company’s support of the USAGA gives these organizations a platform to build the connections necessary to continue to serve their communities.” In 2020 Arcis Golf facilities will host adaptive golf clinics, as well as seminars on disabled golf. This year’s USAGA International Championship is to be played at Bear Creek Golf Club in the Dallas Fort Worth metro area, Oct. 20-22.  Bear Creek features two 18-hole Ted Robinson layouts and is known as one of the area’s premier golf events venues. This summer Arcis Golf’s Ruffled Feathers Golf Club will host “Para-Golf days” to deliver an adaptive golf experience for children with disabilities.
