Pace of Play

Your Position On The Course

Your position on the Golf Course is directly behind the group in front of you.

Not directly in front of the group behind you.

In the event that a group is out of position or causing undue delay, our Player Assistants will:

  1. Provide an initial friendly reminder and a specific expectation for the group to regain position.
  2. Act as a forecaddie to assist groups in regaining position.
  3. If a group is unable to regain position, the Player Assistant will provide that group with options to move back into position, such as skipping shots / holes, rain check, or restarting their round behind the last group.

Thank you for doing your part to improve pace of play. We value your time and are honored to serve you.

Ruby Hill Tee Selection Guide

Arcis Golf encourages players to play from a set of tees best suited to their driving distance. In addition to providing more enjoyment for golfers, teeing it forward also can be one of the most important steps that golfers take in improving pace of play. As a guideline, you should be able to consistently and comfortably reach each green in regulation from the tees you choose to play. Take into account the playing conditions for the day. If weather conditions are causing the course to play long, factor in the loss of distance and select your tees accordingly.
