DALLAS, Texas Feb. 14, 2017 — GRAZE, the new restaurant at Arrowhead Country Club in Arizona, part of the Arcis Golf portfolio of golf clubs nationwide, has been honored in the global Golden Fork Awards, announced in the January/February 2017 issue of Golf Inc. Magazine. GRAZE captured third place in the “new private” category.
Editors of Golf Inc. judged entries from golf clubs and courses worldwide based on criteria that included guest satisfaction, aesthetics, service, menus, improvements in revenue and traffic, as well as capital improvements.
GRAZE, an upscale gastropub, is part of the $2.5 million renovation last year of Arrowhead Country Club. The focal point of the clubhouse, GRAZE offers elegant seating and high-quality cuisine. It aims to provide casual elegance in a lively atmosphere.
Executive Chef Tim Fields uses local products for a farm-fresh “everything from scratch” menu. Fields’ creative menu has helped facilitate member interest and drive business. With options like New Age Black Kale Salad, Burrata Vassi, or Grilled Nieman Ranch Pork Porterhouse, it’s no wonder GRAZE is setting a new standard. Customer satisfaction and a fresh elevated menu resulted in a 30% increase in food and beverage revenue from 2015 to 2016. To ensure excellent service, Arrowhead Country Club’ staff participated in training sessions to meet the standards of the new restaurant.
