Champions Retreat was imagined during the 1999 Masters Champions Dinner, when Gary Player invited Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer to create something the game had never seen. Together, they envisioned 27 holes across 365 acres of Georgia pines and Savannah River bottomland, each nine carrying the unmistakable signature of its architect.

Every spring, the world's finest women amateurs begin their journey to Augusta National on these fairways during the Augusta National Women's Amateur. It's a fitting tradition for a club born from the game's greatest champions and one that continues to challenge the next generation.
